Day 1: Get a Comprehensive View of the Terrain Via Pink Jeep!

Once you’ve fueled up for your first day of fun in Sedona with a hearty breakfast at Coffee Pot Restaurant, you’ll want to get started by showing up for your Pink Jeep Tour reservation. These Jeeps are easy to spot thanks to their vibrant color, but it’s the tour itself that promises to be unforgettable! While Pink Jeep Tours are notoriously designed to be adrenaline-pumping, a trip across Sedona’s dynamic landscape and backcountry serves as a wonderful vantage point for taking it all in comprehensively from the very start! Most Jeeps can hold up to 10 passengers. Along the way, you have the opportunity to see some of the area’s most iconic landmarks with photo stops included at Submarine Rock and Chicken Point just to name a few.

After your Jeep Tour is done, head over to the Cowboy Club and indulge your tastebuds by ordering up Southwest-inspired fare in abundance. You’ll want to extra energy before hitting the Cathedral Rock Trail this afternoon.  This is one of the most popular routes in town and while it’s rated moderately difficult, it’s only 1.2 miles to the overlook. When you’ve reached the overlook and snapped your photos, head back towards town which is only 15 minutes from the trailhead. Tonight, plan on dining at Mariposa where you can order up Latin-inspired food and enjoy you dish from a table located on the grassy patio.

Day 2: Hit the Wineries

When you only have three days in Sedona, you’re going to want to be sure to start day 2 of your adventure with a hike to Devil’s Bridge. Much like Cathedral Rock Trail, the trailhead to this iconic stop is just 15 minutes from town but you’re going to want to get out as early as possible because the route leading to the breathtaking sandstone arch formation gets crowded as the weather gets warmer in the day. It’s a 4.2-mile trek that’s rated moderately difficult, but manageable for beginners as well. Pack plenty of water for the journey because the road leading to the arch doesn’t enjoy much shade.

After achieving your Devil’s Bridge goal and grabbing photos along the way, the rest of your day will be spent in savory style exploring a collection of wineries that sit just outside Sedona. Page Wine Cellars is an excellent place to start when you’re looking forward to sipping your way through an afternoon. Next, head to nearby Javelina’s Leap Winery where you can pair a second tasting with appetizers that are sure to inspire. Both destinations offer up a tranquil setting and beautiful views to enjoy. Tonight, consider topping off this day with a dinner enjoyed at Tortas de Fuego. Here, you’re sure to find some of the best Mexican food around!

Day 3: Explore Town

Sedona is a city with much to offer and day three of your Sedona winter journey is a time to unwind and explore at your own pace. Start your day with a leisurely hike to the Birthing Cave. This route is a bit off-the-beaten-path but it’s only a 2-mile trek and it’s accessible by the Long Canyon Trailhead. The views here are incredible and there’s a good chance you’ll end up lingering longer than you planned.

From here, you’ll be heading downtown to check out the variety of crystal shops, souvenir stores, and even candle boutiques that call this unique area home. Whether you simply stroll, shop, or pick out something special—it’s a good way to end your amazing getaway experience.
